How does it work?
Does Gnosio integrate with accounting software, or is Gnosio a stand alone product? Does Gnosio integrate with accounting software, or is Gnosio a stand alone product? There are more then a few possible solutions to integrating our issue tracking system with your existing software systems. Gnosio complements and works well with the all these property management software solutions. Some solutions simply involve procedure. Some solutions involve custom coding and software integration. Of course, we want a better understanding of your needs and your other software, and we are willing to do the work necessary to discover this information. Our incentive, at this point, is to learn how to help a company like yours. For a low fee, you get people who are highly interested in helping your organization change to integrated centralized systems. In the process, we discover how to integrate Gnosio with Yardi, AMSI and other property management products. That's why Your Company is a partner, not a customer. You get extra consulting for free because it is in our interest to solve the problems of our first partners so that we can apply solutions to our future customers. Furthermore, we have already demonstrated the ability to keep our web servers running 99.9% of the time. We encourage you to contact our reference customers and to listen to them speak about our proficiencies. At Gnosio, we intend to help property management companies for a long time. Therefore, in a worst case, we would help you move our system in house, if needed, and to train someone in your staff to keep your system going. Even though we intend to be around for the next 30 years (like Your Company), we will make your data available in a format which will work with your next data centers when needed. When a customer sends a message to service@yourcompany.com, for instance, that customer will only be able to log in to see their issue. If you want, you can allow that user to see all the issues with their property, if they are a board director of a HOA, for instance. Our system is already highly configurable and it has many access levels. (To return to the top index, click here.) What happens to the data? Is it secure? Your data is secure. Your system is secure. We know how to keep our systems safe. Furthermore, we back up your data every day to an off site server, and we have an emergency procedure to restore a compromised system within a day or two from scratch. Again, the staff at Gnosio has demonstrated this ability over the past five years. We maintain a backup server on standby. The main costs of a computer system are the ongoing maintenance costs and not the upfront costs, although these ongoing costs are often hidden to the purchasers. We believe that a subscription model enables you to win both ways. First, there is a smaller initial investment. Second, we are more efficient at maintaining this computer system than an in-house team, because we are doing the same thing for many clients and this is our core competency. How does it work? Gnosio is 100 per cent web-based. There is no software for you to install. Any computer with a web browser and an Internet connection can use Gnosio. Mac, PC, Internet Explorer, Netscape -- they all work with Gnosio. Gnosio is a hosted application so there is never any hardware to buy, no software to install, or any special databases needed. Is the information I enter into Gnosio safe? Where is it kept? Your information is password protected and kept safely on our servers. We make sure those servers stay up and running so that you and your staff can always get to your information. We back up your data every hour. (To return to the top index, click here.) How can I back up my Gnosio information? We back up your information every hour and store it on a completely separate computer. So if anything happens to your information, we can recover. And if you want a copy locally, we can send you a copy of your data from our server as often as you like. (To return to the top index, click here.) Do you use a password with Gnosio? Yes, usually. The demonstration on this site is open and no password is needed here. However, when we set you up with your own system, everyone will need a password to log in unless you want that feature disabled. We set up your own private Gnosio system, and we add all of your properties and all your personnel to the system, and we alter your web site and even help train your employees to use it. Gnosio customizes OpenACS -- an open source toolkit for building web applications. This means that Gnosio is backed by a strong system which has already been tested under heavy load. And it means that Gnosio is a system which is already supported by many software developers all over the world. At Gnosio we acknowledge OpenACS and thank them for providing us the opportunity to help property management companies benefit from the open source community. Yes, you can grant access to your customers and suppliers if you want. However, there is no need to do this.
