Marketing and SalesGnosio is a play on the Greek work Gnosis -- a word for knowledge. Our tag line for Gnosio is "Stay in the Know" because we help our customers stay organized. We position Gnosio as the new, open, and helpful solution because we provide a new type computing, we are generally helpful, and all our infomation is public -- our pricing, our competition, our uptime, our source code and even this business plan.As a small, home grown company, we are similar to the property management companies we serve. We rely on cold calling, appointments and referals from our reference customers to reach our next milestone of five to eight customers. We realize that a face to face demonstration is usually required to convert a customer. John and Eric use a hosted intranet sales pipeline software to manage prospects. Our sales mantra is: One Customer at a Time. In the future, as our budget allows, we intend to exhibit at the major trade shows and conferences, buy advertisements in search engines and trade magazines, and leverage referrals by offering "one month free" incentives to our customers. We use guerilla marketing tactics like: Write articles for property management publications on CRM and hosted applications, have free seminars on excellent customer service and the benefits of hosted applications. We market directly to board members of condo associations to enlist them into convirting their management company, because we have found that most condo owners wish that their management company took better care of their service requests.
